Rainforest Reef is a static directory. This page explains, plainly, what the site does and does not collect.

What we do not collect

• No user accounts and no sign-in.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
• No third-party cookies or tracking pixels.
• No stored location data. The home page search matches what you type against a built-in list of Canadian places entirely in your browser. That text is not sent to us.

What the site stores

The site is served as static files. It does not set cookies of its own and does not store the searches you perform. Standard web-server logs at our hosting provider may record requests, such as a page address and a timestamp, for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.

Submissions and email

The launch build of this site has no submission backend. The submit page form does not transmit data anywhere. If you email us about a store, we receive the contents of your message and use it only to handle your request.

Reviews

Reviews shown on this site are first-party: written here by this site's users. We do not import, copy or republish ratings or reviews from other services.

Changes

Features that collect information, such as a connected submission form or first-party reviews, may be added later. When that happens, this page will be updated to describe what is collected and why before those features go live.
